A New Home Page, A New Direction

Until now, Momor's home page was basically the search page. That made sense when the product was mostly about showing the engine in action. It stopped making sense once the bigger story became what the engine is for, who it is for, and where the product is going.

Six New Tools, One Search Box

There is a point where "just do a web search and synthesize the snippets" stops being good enough. If you ask for a flight, you want flight data. If you ask where a package is, you want tracking. If you ask for directions, you want a route, not a paragraph that sounds route-shaped.

Search That Remembers

You search for something. You get a good answer. Then you want to ask the obvious follow-up — but there's no way to, because the search box doesn't know what you just asked. You either rephrase the whole thing with enough context baked in, or you start over and hope it lands close enough. Search has always been stateless. Every question is the first question.

Momor for Enterprise

A healthcare researcher can't paste a patient's chart into a public AI tool to look something up. A wealth manager can't run a client's portfolio through a system where the data gets used to train the next model. An attorney working a sensitive deal can't send case documents through infrastructure her client never agreed to. These aren't edge cases — they're the daily reality for entire industries, and it means millions of people who need AI-powered search the most are the ones who can't use any of it.

Music Search

Music queries have always worked — you could ask Momor about a song and it would find something. But "something" was pulled from web pages, which meant inconsistent formatting, missing details, and album art that may or may not show up. Not great for what's basically a structured data problem.

Built for Your Phone

**Mobile-first layout** means navigation, search input, results, and settings were all redesigned around how people actually hold their phones. Proper spacing, readable text at native sizes, and nothing that requires pinch-to-zoom or careful aim to tap.

More Tools, Smarter Answers

**Multi-tool answers** mean Momor can use several tools in one pass. "Is it warm enough to grill in Austin this weekend and what's a good brisket recipe?" used to force a choice — weather or recipe, not both. Now it checks the forecast and finds the recipe in the same answer, because that's obviously what you wanted.

**Translation is now built in.** No more opening a translation site in another tab, copying text back and forth, or wondering what language something is.

Search With Your Eyes

You're at a flea market. There's a ceramic vase with a maker's mark you can't read. You could try to describe it—"blue vase with squiggly mark on bottom"—but language fails you. The whole point of a maker's mark is that it's visual. It's meant to be seen, not described.

Voice Search

Sometimes typing isn't convenient. You're cooking, driving, or just don't feel like thumbing through a keyboard. Now there's a mic button next to the search box. Tap it, speak, and your words appear in the input field.

Search That Knows What You'll Ask Next

You get an answer. It's good. Now what? You stare at the search box thinking "okay, but what about..." That moment when you know there's a next question but you're not sure exactly how to phrase it? We've got you.

Your Quota, Your Control

Back in September, we started showing you a counter at 80% because surprising you sucks. That was step one. This is step two: always-visible limits, self-service billing, and a Help panel that explains how everything works.

Our Privacy Promise, Made Explicit

From day one, Momor has been built around a simple idea: we have to understand your question to answer it, but we don’t need to turn you into a profile to do that.

Everyone Gets to Search - Just Not the Same Search

Search costs real money. Every query hits APIs we pay for, AI models we can't run ourselves, and sources that charge per request. So we built a tiered system that's honest about costs while keeping search open to everyone. Anonymous users can still search without signing up. Free accounts get more. Pro subscribers get the best sources. And here's the part we're proud of: when Pro users hit their premium quota, they don't hit a wall - they just switch to standard search.

Smarter Answers, More Reliability

We added access to more models and better models behind the scenes. This means better answers for you, more choices for us to pick the best option, and a more reliable search that keeps working when things break.

Instant Facts for People, Places, and Things

You shouldn't have to click five links just to find out when someone was born or where something is. Search for a person, place, or thing, and the facts you're looking for appear right there in a clean panel alongside your results. No ads, no scrolling through paragraphs, just the information.

Now You Can Actually See What You're Searching For

Some things need pictures. "What does poison ivy look like?" shouldn't give you a wall of text. "Types of clouds" shouldn't require you to imagine cumulus vs stratus. We added visual results that show you what you're actually looking for - 8 high-quality images with proper source attribution.

Search Got Way Smarter About What You Actually Mean

Ever search for "Python error" and get results from 2015? Or ask about stock prices and get yesterday's close? We taught search to understand when time matters. "Latest news" gets fresh data. "World War 2" gets historical context. Simple concept, surprisingly hard to build.

No Passwords, No Problems

We're Showing You the Meter Before You Hit Empty

Here's what breaks our hearts: we have to limit searches because every search costs real money. Momor is one person funding this out of pocket. So instead of surprising you when you hit a wall, we show you a counter at 80%. Not to push upgrades - just so you know. Because we'd rather be uncomfortably honest than comfortably deceptive.

Your Installed App Just Got Native Powers

Pull down to refresh like you expect on your phone. Share button that looks right whether you're on iPhone, Android, or Windows. The PWA now feels like it was born on your device, not visiting from the web. Platform-specific icons so you don't have to guess what that weird shape does.

Your Neighborhood Results Stay In Your Neighborhood

Fixed a caching issue where different locations got mixed up - "pizza near me" now shows YOUR local pizza, not cached results from someone else's search three states over. Cleaned up confusing pricing text and made everything readable on phones without squinting.

We Wrote The Manual (Because You Shouldn't Have To Guess)

Built a whole documentation site because expecting you to figure everything out is lazy on our part. Split search and content into separate systems so updating docs doesn't slow down your searches. Added guides for different types of users - from developers to people who just want private search that works.

Performance Insights Without The Surveillance State

Telemetry Without The Creep Factor + Feedback That Actually Helps

Your thumbs up and thumbs down actually make search better now. We track what's slow so we can fix it, not who you are so we can sell you stuff. Every piece of feedback helps us tune results without building a profile about you. The search giants monetize your data; we just want to load results faster.

Weather That Just Works (Umbrella Optional)

Weather is now instant and obvious - no scrolling past ads, no AI essay about cloud formations. The new compact widget shows current conditions and tomorrow's forecast in a glance. Feels Like Home + Plays Fair

Search results now respect your language and region settings for better relevance. Smart rate limiting keeps the bots out while real humans search freely. We laid the groundwork for location-aware features with privacy-first geo providers. It's search getting smarter about context without getting creepy about tracking.

Streams That Keep Swimming (And Stay Safe)

We switched to a faster, more reliable way to stream search results - no more stuttering or frozen loads like those "modern" AI search tools. Fixed a security hole that could have let sketchy sites mess with your results (unlike the big guys, we actually fix these things). Results now flow smoothly from server to screen without the jank. Security and speed in one update - wild concept, right?

Bye, Trackers. Hi, Answers.

Answers With Their Feet On The Ground

Fixed our AI's annoying habit of referencing itself in answers - no more "As an AI model..." nonsense. Answers now stick closer to what the sources actually say instead of going off on tangents. We tightened up the response logic so you get straight answers, not philosophy lectures. Search should inform, not pontificate.

A Sprinkle of PWA, A Dash of Polish

You can now save Momor to your phone's home screen and it feels like a real app - no app store needed. Fixed that frustrating bug where arrow keys wouldn't select autocomplete suggestions properly.
