2026-03-31 — Kimi by Moonshot AI Joins Momor's Model Lineup

Momor was never built around a single model. The point of the failover lineup is that if one provider is slow, rate-limited, or having a bad day, your search keeps moving instead of stalling on someone else's outage. This update adds Kimi, from Moonshot AI, to that lineup.

Highlights

  • Kimi (Moonshot AI) is now a supported model family
  • Available as a routing option alongside the existing families
  • Slots into the same automatic failover as every other provider

Kimi is now in the rotation

You can steer your searches toward the Kimi family, or leave routing on automatic and let Momor pick what's fastest and most appropriate for the question. Either way, Kimi is now one more model the system can fall back to when it needs one.

This is not a model swap. Nothing you were using went away. Kimi is an addition — which is exactly how the lineup is supposed to grow.

Why This Matters

More families in the lineup means fewer single points of failure. When the question is hard and the first choice isn't available, having another capable model ready is the difference between an answer and a spinner.

What this means for you: one more strong model behind the search box, and one less way for a single provider's bad day to become your problem.
