2026-04-15 — A Faster Momor Site and Unified Navigation

The pages around the search box — home, product, about, enterprise, blog, updates, legal — were being built in a way that made them heavier and slower than they had any reason to be. This update rebuilds the public site on Astro, which renders those pages as fast static HTML while the search app stays fully interactive where it needs to be.

Highlights

  • Faster page loads across the public site
  • Better SEO from static, prerendered HTML
  • One consistent header, footer, and navigation across site and app
  • Mobile navigation reworked into a cleaner drawer
  • Stale pages removed; Help now points to Getting Started

A faster public site

Marketing and content pages now ship as static HTML instead of waiting on the app to boot before they appear. They load quicker, index better, and stop hiding their own content behind a paint-in effect — all of which matters for page speed and search ranking.

One navigation, everywhere

The header, user menu, drawer, breadcrumb, and footer are unified across the public site and the search app, so moving between them no longer feels like crossing into a different product. Mobile gets a proper drawer with swipe-to-close, and browser-only chrome is hidden when you run Momor as an installed app.

Less dead weight

Pages and surfaces that no longer matched the live product — an out-of-date Help page, a broken share button — were removed. Help now redirects to Getting Started, where the real answers live.

Why This Matters

A site that loads fast, navigates the same way everywhere, and doesn't carry pages describing a version of the product that no longer exists is just less friction between you and the thing you came for.

What this means for you: the pages around search load quicker and behave consistently, on desktop and mobile alike, with nothing stale left to send you the wrong way.
