2026-04-07 — Conversational Search With Follow-Up Questions

Search isn't one question and one wall of results anymore. You ask, you get an answer, you follow up, you narrow it down. The old layout — a fixed stack of sections — never fit that. This update rebuilds the results experience around how people actually search: as a conversation.

Highlights

  • Conversational search with follow-up questions in one thread
  • Answers stream smoothly without the page stuttering
  • A timeline trace shows the steps behind each answer
  • Past turns stay intact as you continue

Follow-up questions in one thread

Each question and its answer is now its own turn in the thread. Follow-up questions build on what came before instead of replacing it, so the whole exchange stays readable as it grows. Conversational search means you can refine, compare, and dig deeper without starting over.

Answers that stream cleanly

Answers used to make the whole page work harder than needed while text streamed in. We restructured the results around per-turn snapshots and batched the incoming text frame by frame, so the answer streams cleanly while your widgets and past turns stay still.

A timeline trace that shows the work

When Momor decides what to search, runs tools, and synthesizes an answer, that work is no longer invisible. The timeline trace lays out the steps it took, so an answer isn't just handed to you — you can see how it got there.

Why This Matters

Trust comes from being able to follow the work. A conversation you can scroll back through, an answer that streams without the screen lurching, and a visible trace of what happened are the difference between "here's a result" and "here's how I reached it."

What this means for you: search that keeps its place as you go, reads like the back-and-forth it actually is, and shows its work instead of asking you to take it on faith.
